On February 28, 2024, BLB&G associate Glenn McGillivray will feature as a guest lecturer at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. Glenn will speak to Professor Richard Booth’s “Corporate Finance” class about executive compensation, particularly as it relates to the recent Tesla case where Glenn served as part of BLB&G’s trial team. In addition to speaking about the landmark compensation challenge, Glenn will address the real-world practicalities of litigating executive compensation cases, as well as the potential policy implications of Chancellor McCormick’s ruling.

Glenn is an associate in BLB&G's governance department practicing out of the firm’s New York and Wilmington offices, prosecuting corporate governance and shareholder rights litigation on behalf of the firm’s institutional investor clients. Notably, Glenn was part of BLB&G’s trial team in Tornetta v. Musk et. al and Tesla, Inc., which resulted in a landmark decision nullifying Elon Musk’s $55 billion compensation package. In recognition of his work, Glenn was recently named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America list in the practice area of Litigation - Securities.
