BLB&G Associate Tayler Bolton contributed to the panel “Filing and Getting into the Court System” as part of the Delaware State Bar Association’s “Best Practices in the Delaware Court of Chancery” program on March 27. Drawing on her litigation experience in Delaware, Tayler discussed her process related to drafting the complaint, when attorneys should (and should not) seek immediate court involvement, and emergency motions and expedited proceedings.
Based in BLB&G’s Delaware office, Tayler prosecutes corporate governance and shareholder rights litigation on behalf of the firm’s institutional investor clients. She previously worked an associate at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd, specializing in breach of fiduciary actions and matters brought before the Delaware Court of Chancery. Her casework has helped level the playing field for minority investors through reformed voting procedures and other governance protections. In recognition of her achievements, Tayler has continuously been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers since 2023.
