BLB&G to Host FBC CLE Women’s History Month Event on Women in United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York

On March 26, BLB&G will host a special Continuing Legal Education (CLE) event, “Entering the Arena: A Celebration of Women’s History Month,” presented by the Federal Bar Council at the Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse in New York.
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the event will feature a panel discussion with a group of distinguished women judges and attorneys, including three federal judges, as they reflect on the history and contributions of women in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
Panelists include the Honorable Naomi Reice Buchwald (Judge, U.S. District Court, SDNY), the Honorable Denise L. Cote (Judge, U.S. District Court, SDNY), Patricia M. Hynes, Esq. (Former President, New York City Bar Association), Lisa Zornberg, Esq. (Partner, Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello PC). The Honorable Cathy Seibel (Judge, U.S. District Court, SDNY) will act as moderator.
Partner Rebecca Boon has been integral to organizing this event. She is a founding member of Beyond #MeToo, a working group dedicated to creating corporate compliance and management structures that prevent workplace misconduct and abuses of power.
