BLB&G has been named a finalist for National Boutique/Specialty Litigation Department of the Year as part of The American Lawyer Industry Awards 2025. The winners will be announced at an awards dinner on November 13 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.

The nomination highlights BLB&G’s exceptional securities class action achievements in 2024-25, securing billions of dollars for investors in high-profile cases such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac ($812 million recovery) and Banco Santander ($162.5 million recovery). The firm also achieved a landmark victory in the Delaware Court of Chancery, overturning Elon Musk’s $56 billion compensation package in Richard Tornetta v. Elon Musk et al. and Tesla, Inc., and secured consecutive wins before the U.S. Supreme Court in cases against tech giants NVIDIA and Facebook, ensuring these significant lawsuits will proceed toward trial on the merits.
