BLB&G has been named a finalist in both firmwide and individual categories as part of The National Law Journal 2025 Elite Trial Lawyers Awards. The firm is up for Plaintiff Law Firm of the Year and Securities Litigation / Shareholder Rights, and Partner Jeroen van Kwawegen is a nominee for Plaintiff Attorney of the Year. The winners will be announced at an awards dinner on November 13 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.
These nominations highlight the firm’s exceptional securities class action achievements in 2024-25, securing millions for investors in high-profile cases such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac ($812 million recovery), Qualcomm ($75 million recovery), and Perrigo ($97 million). Jeroen’s significant work includes the landmark decision overturning Elon Musk’s $55 billion compensation package in Richard Tornetta v. Elon Musk et al. and Tesla, Inc., and the ongoing securities fraud litigation against Meta Platforms, where Meta allegedly misled shareholders about the platform’s harmful effects on users.
Alongside individual and firmwide nominations, Partner Katie Sinderson has also been recognized as a “Women of the Plaintiffs Bar” honoree for her exceptional performance in high-stakes litigation on behalf of plaintiffs.
