BLB&G Partner Katie Sinderson has been selected as an “Elite Women of the Plaintiffs Bar” honoree as part of The National Law Journal’s 2025 Elite Trial Lawyers. The award honors women attorneys who have consistently demonstrated exceptional performance in high-stakes litigation representing plaintiffs. Katie’s significant wins include:
- Oklahoma Firefighters Pension & Retirement System v. Six Flags Entertainment Corporation: Katie led the team to a successful $40 million settlement in the long-running Six Flags litigation, overcoming repeated motions to dismiss and winning on appeal to the Fifth Circuit twice.
- In re Grand Canyon Education, Inc. Securities Litigation: Katie successfully defeated defendants’ motion to dismiss and advanced the case to crucial discovery stages before settling in 2024 for $25.5 million.
- In re The Boeing Company Aircraft Securities Litigation: Katie defeated the defendant’s motion to dismiss in a closely watched securities fraud class action against The Boeing Company and its former senior executives.
Katie specializes in advising and representing BLB&G clients in securities fraud actions, leading teams that have recovered billions of dollars for investors harmed by fraud and corporate malfeasance. In addition to her litigation duties, Katie serves as co-chair of the Federal Bar Council Securities Litigation Committee and frequently speaks at bar association and industry events. Most recently, she was a featured speaker at the PLI program “Securities Litigation 2025: From Investigation to Trial.”
