BLB&G Partners Hannah Ross and Rebecca Boon have been named finalists in Law.com’s 2025 Women, Influence and Power in Law (“WIPL”) Awards.
Hannah is a finalist in the “Law Firm Collaborative Leadership” category for leading precedent-setting cases, including a $2 billion recovery in the Allianz case and a historic $2.425 billion settlement against Bank of America—one of the largest securities recoveries ever obtained. As a member of BLB&G’s Executive Committee and Board, her dedication to leadership and mentorship underscores her impact at the firm.
Rebecca has been shortlisted in the “Law Firm Thought Leadership” category for her groundbreaking work addressing fraud and sexual misconduct through securities litigation. Notably, she co-led the trial team that secured a $240 million recovery for investors in Signet Jewelers—the first successful resolution of a securities fraud class action rooted in sexual harassment allegations. Rebecca advances workplace equality through her leadership in the Beyond #MeToo Working Group, fostering open discussions and actionable solutions among legal and business leaders.
The WIPL Awards celebrate women leaders in law firms and in-house positions who demonstrate a commitment to advancing women’s empowerment in the legal profession. Winners will be announced at an awards dinner on October 16 at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, D.C.
