The National Law Journal Again Honors BLB&G as “Elite Trial Lawyers” Practice Area Award Winner

December 6, 2016

As the winner in the “Financial Institutions” category for its success in prosecuting securities cases arising from the financial crisis, BLB&G was among a select group of firms honored during The National Law Journal’s (“NLJ”) “Elite Trial Lawyers” Awards dinner held on December 6, 2016. The awards ceremony commemorates elite firms that have done exemplary and remarkable work on behalf of plaintiffs in high-stakes litigation.  BLB&G was also a finalist in the “Securities” category.

Accepting the award on behalf of the firm, BLB&G partners Mark Lebovitch and Katie Sinderson underscored the important role BLB&G and the other top plaintiff firms play in upholding the laws that govern America’s capital markets.  They highlighted the talent, perseverance and passion it takes to pursue and protect the rights of investors, employees and consumers who suffer due to corporate fraud and greed, especially when considering the skills and resources that the top corporate defense firms bring to bear on behalf of corporate America.

According to NLJ, this year’s category finalists and winners for the “Elite Trial Lawyers” awards were selected after “thorough research, analysis and nomination vetting,” which were reviewed for accuracy and performance by reporters and editors at The National Law Journal and law.com.  BLB&G has been named to NLJ’s “Elite Trial Lawyers” rankings every year since the list’s inception.
