Partner Jeroen van Kwawegen, who co-leads the firm’s Department of Governance, was appointed to the Board of Legal Services NYC (LSNYC). LSNYC is one of the largest legal aid organizations in the country and provides legal assistance to more than 110,000 low-income New Yorkers every year.
Jeroen's achievements as both partner at the firm and now board member of LSNYC advance his personal mission of "litigating for the greater good," as he mentioned in a previous "Lawyer Limelight" profile published by Lawdragon. He joins the likes of the impressive LSNYC professionals who have handled more than two million cases since its founding in 1968. The work of LSNYC is focused on challenging systemic injustices and ensuring the well-being of communities across the city.
