BLB&G Partner Jorge Tenreiro participated in a panel titled, “Corporate Disclosure: Rethinking Frequency and Scope” at the Council of Institutional Investors (“CII”) Spring 2026 Conference on March 10. Drawing on his extensive experience at the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”), Jorge addressed recent trends and emerging issues in the SEC’s shifting approach to corporate disclosure practices.
Jorge is a leading authority on federal civil litigation, particularly in the crypto asset and cyber sectors. As the former Chief Litigation Counsel at the SEC, Jorge spearheaded groundbreaking cases against high-profile entities like Sam Bankman-Fried, Terraform Labs, and Binance. He also contributes to the legal community as a speaker, lecturer, and active member of professional associations, including the Hispanic National Bar Association’s planning committee and the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York’s judiciary committee.
