BLB&G has been named a 2026 Delaware “Regional Powerhouse” and profiled by Law360, marking the firm’s third consecutive year on the list.
The profile highlights recent notables victories in the Delaware Court of Chancery, including the $147.5 million recovery for former stockholders of World Wrestling Entertainment on the eve of trial, the proposed $111.25 million settlement in the derivative litigation against Cencora (formerly known as AmeriSource Bergen) involving opioid-distribution compliance, and the precedent-setting decision in the derivative lawsuit against eXp World Holdings, Inc., finding that directors’ duty of oversight includes investigating and remediating workplace sexual misconduct, and that failing to do so could constitute a breach of fiduciary duty by corporate officers and directors. In addition to these stockholder cases, the firm has expanded into areas beyond its traditional focus, including representing “dispossessed founders” of large private companies that have fallen into disputes with companies or investors.
Underscoring the firm’s expanding Delaware footprint, the profile acknowledges BLB&G’s emergence as a prominent advocate for investors in some of Delaware’s most consequential shareholder and corporate governance disputes. It recognizes the leadership of Partner Greg Varallo, head of the Wilmington office, and Special Governance Counsel Mark Lebovitch, who returned to co-lead the firm’s corporate governance practice after launching the Delaware office in 2019. The profile also highlights BLB&G’s strengthening trial bench with the addition of Partner Anthony Calvano, who brings substantial Delaware trial experience from his prior clerkship with Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster.
