March 2, 2015

The National Law Journal (“NLJ”) has named BLB&G to its 2015 “Plaintiffs Hot List”,” an annual listing of the top plaintiff’s law firms in the country, for the eleventh time. BLB&G is one of only three firms nationally to be so recognized.

In its profile of the firm, NLJ noted how BLBG is “careful to pick securities and corporate–governance cases that can pack a powerful punch in terms of precedent or payouts.” Senior partner Max Berger said, “the firm looks for matters liable to reinforce shareholder rights in meaningful ways.”

The profile further highlights some of the firm’s recent successes including, a $280 million settlement in the JPMorgan Mortgage Pass-Through Litigation and a $99 million settlement from auditor Ernst and Young LLP in In re Lehman Brothers Equity/Debt Securities Litigation. In addition, BLB&G was recognized for its work in obtaining a $55 million settlement, dating back to the 2008 financial crisis, from the Reserve Primary Fund.
