February 12, 2026

BLB&G Partner John Rizio-Hamilton has been appointed to the firm’s Executive Committee, joining current Executive Committee members Salvatore Graziano, Hannah Ross, and Jerry Silk.

“John’s leadership, professionalism, and commitment to excellence have been integral to the firm’s successes over the years. His addition to the Executive Committee will undoubtedly enhance our collective efforts moving forward,” said Salvatore Graziano, Executive Committee member.

John serves as Co-Head of BLB&G’s Securities Litigation Department and is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading shareholder litigators. With a track record of recovering billions of dollars for investors, John has played a pivotal role in several landmark cases, including leading the trial team in the Signet Jewelers Securities Litigation, which secured a $240 million recovery and stands as the first securities fraud class action successfully resolved based on allegations of sexual harassment. He also played a critical role in the Bank of America Securities Litigation, resulting in a $2.425 billion settlement—the largest recovery connected to the subprime meltdown and one of the most significant securities litigation outcomes in history. Additionally, John served as counsel on behalf of institutional investor plaintiffs in the Citigroup Bond Litigation, achieving a $730 million recovery, marking the second-largest securities class action settlement for purchasers of debt securities.

In addition to his direct litigation responsibilities, John leads the firm’s client outreach in Canada, advising institutional investor clients on potential securities fraud and investor claims. His accomplishments have earned him prestigious recognition, including being named a “Litigation Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal. He has also been honored as a "Litigation Star" by Benchmark Litigation and recognized by Law360 as a “Rising Star,” a “Legal MVP,” and one of the nation’s “Top Attorneys Under 40.”
