BLB&G Partner Li Yu participated as a plaintiff attorney in the American Bar Association’s Health Law Section False Claims Act Mock Trial Institute on January 16. The event spanned three days and featured a full-length healthcare litigation mock trial, with distinguished legal professionals serving as plaintiff and defense counsel. Li delivered the closing arguments for the plaintiff team, and attendees engaged with trial participants throughout the program, gaining valuable insights into complex litigation strategies.
Li serves as a lead partner of the firm’s Whistleblower Practice. A seasoned trial and appellate lawyer, Li is a recognized expert in qui tam cases and has led groundbreaking False Claims Act litigation against Medicare Advantage organizations, drug manufacturers, pharmacy chains, medical device suppliers, and mortgage lenders.
