BLB&G Partner Rebecca Boon Speaks on Shareholder Activism on Environmental and Social Issues at Conference hosted by The Advocates’ Society

On April 8, 2021 partner Rebecca Boon will serve as a panelist among leading practitioners discussing the latest trends in shareholder activism on environmental and social issues at the conference, which is hosted by Canadian organization The Advocates’ Society.

Rebecca has been litigating securities fraud and shareholder rights actions for over a decade, recovering more than $1.5 billion dollars for BLB&G’s institutional investor clients. She has led landmark recoveries that have resulted in not only millions back to investors but also important social change among industries. She also co-founded the Beyond #MeToo: A Working Group on Corporate Governance, Compliance, and Risk, which seeks to provide a neutral forum for candid discussion, practical discourse, and legal and professional scholarship in developing the next generation of policy prescriptions and best practices related to workplace misconduct, harassment and discrimination.
