BLB&G partner Avi Josefson participated as a featured panelist in the Litigating Securities Class Actions webinar, hosted by LexisNexis on March 10, 2011, at 3:00 p.m.
Mr. Josefson discussed new developments and challenges related to securities litigation, and outlined best practices in dealing with new class certification requirements, among other topics.
Mr. Josefson prosecutes securities litigation for the firm's institutional investor clients and advises them on potential legal claims as a member of the new matter department. He is also a member of the firm's subprime litigation team and the firm's corporate litigation practice. He has participated in many of the firm's significant representations, including In re SCOR Holding (Switzerland) AG Securities Litigation, which resulted in a recovery worth in excess of $143 million.
