Sean Coffey Discusses Warning Signs of Corporate Fraud at Anti-Fraud/Anti-Money Laundering Conference

Former partner Sean Coffey was a featured speaker at the Anti-Fraud/Anti-Money Laundering Conference, which was held on June 10, 2009 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York.  The Conference provides attendees with practical tools and insight to help prevent and detect corporate fraud.

In his presentation, "Corporate Scandals and Resulting Litigation," Mr. Coffey drew upon on his experience prosecuting  shareholder actions stemming from the recent subprime collapse, as well as examine the factors contributing to mega-corporate meltdowns, including those at Worldcom and Enron, in order to identify common threads and warning signs at companies that merit continued attention from auditors and examiners.
