BLB&G Partner Anya Freedman has been recognized as the “North America: Thought Leader of the Year” at the 2026 Women in Business Law Americas Awards for her insightful contributions guiding legal professionals and trustees alike. The awards, hosted by the Legal Benchmarking Group, honor the incredible achievements and leadership of women within the industry.
Based in BLB&G’s Los Angeles office, Anya leads the firm’s Fiduciary and Governance Advisory Group. She advises public agencies and institutional investors on fiduciary law, governance, and portfolio monitoring, equipping them to pursue strategic litigation to recover losses resulting from fraud and other corporate misconduct.
