BLB&G was named Law Firm of the Year and Litigation Department of the Year: Class Action at the 2025 New York Legal Awards, honoring the exceptional securities litigation and corporate governance work performed by BLB&G in 2024-25. The awards ceremony took place on September 4 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in Manhattan.

The awards recognize the many outstanding victories achieved by BLB&G for shareholders in 2024-25, including the firm’s landmark Delaware Court of Chancery victory resulting in the rescission of Elon Musk’s $56 billion Tesla pay package, back-to-back U.S. Supreme Court wins dismissing appeals by NVIDIA and Facebook, and the precedent-setting Mindbody trial victory holding its CEO liable for Revlon violations. The firm also achieved significant settlements in high-profile cases such as Warner Brothers Discovery ($125 million), Viacom ($120 million), Perrigo ($97 million), and Qualcomm ($75 million). Over the past year, BLB&G has secured hundreds of millions in investor recoveries, contributing to the more than $40 billion recovered by the firm since its founding.

Partner Jeroen van Kwawegen was also named a finalist for Attorney of the Year as part of the awards. He was recently profiled by the New York Law Journal.
