BLB&G Partner and Executive Committee member Jeroen van Kwawegen has been named a finalist in the “Winning Litigators - Plaintiffs” category as part of The National Law Journal’s 2025 Legal Awards. The winners will be announced at an awards dinner on November 5.
The nomination highlights Jeroen’s accomplishments as a trial lawyer, with a long track record of courtroom wins and a streak of notable victories in the past year. Since January 2024, Jeroen has led or co-led several precedent-setting trial victories, including a successful challenge to Elon Musk’s $56 billion executive compensation package at Tesla, described by quoted sources as “the largest potential compensation opportunity ever observed in public markets.” He also led the BLB&G team that achieved an appellate victory before the Delaware Supreme Court in December 2024, upholding a landmark victory for shareholders in a securities case related to the merger of Mindbody and Vista Equity Partners.
