BLB&G Partner John Rizio-Hamilton Appointed to Board of Federal Bar Foundation

BLB&G Partner John Rizio-Hamilton has been appointed to the board of the Federal Bar Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the Federal Bar Council. Along with fellow board members, John will work to improve access to justice, as well as facilitate and cultivate the knowledge, understanding, and study of the law and the science of jurisprudence. The Federal Bar Foundation lends financial support to Federal Bar Council initiatives, including historical exhibits, lectures, educational programs, and publications. It is dedicated to inspiring excellence in federal practice and fellowship among federal practitioners, encouraging respectful, cordial relations between the bench and bar, and promoting the rule of law.

John Rizio-Hamilton is co-head of BLB&G’s Securities Litigation Department. One of America’s top shareholder litigators, John works on the most complex and high-stakes securities class action cases and has recovered billions of dollars on behalf of institutional investor clients. John is responsible for the firm's client outreach in Canada, where he advises institutional investor clients on potential securities fraud and investor claims. He is also one of the partners who oversees the firm’s Global Securities and Litigation Monitoring Team. John is continually recognized for his achievements, including being named a “Litigation Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal, a "Litigation Star" by Benchmark Litigation, and a “Rising Star” and “Legal MVP” by Law360. John is also regularly named to lists of leading practitioners by Lawdragon, including “500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers” and “500 Leading Lawyers in America,” and Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers.
