In re Natera Sec. Litig.

Natera is a genetic testing company out of Austin, TX. The operative complaint alleges that, during the Class Period (Feb. 26, 2020-April 19, 2022), Defendants made false and misleading statements and omissions concerning two of Natera’s products: their kidney rejection testing product (Prospera), and their prenatal testing product (Panorama). On September 11, 2023, the Court entered an order partially granting and partially denying Defendants’ Motion to Dismiss. While the Court granted in full Defendants’ motion to dismiss Plaintiffs’ claims related to Prospera, the Court rejected Defendants’ arguments and sustained in full Plaintiffs’ claims related to Panorama, under both Section 10(b) of the Exchange Act as well as under Section 11 of the Securities Act). On December 12, 2023, Defendants filed an Answer to the Complaint.  This case is in the discovery phase and is ongoing.
