Alexander Noble practices out of the firm’s New York office and prosecutes securities fraud, corporate governance, and shareholder rights litigation on behalf of the firm's institutional investor clients.
Since joining the firm, Alex has served as a key member of case teams securing hundreds of millions of dollars in recoveries for harmed investors. Highlights include:
- In re Celgene Corporation Securities Litigation: $239 million recovery
- In re EQT Corporation Securities Litigation: $167.5 million recovery
- In re Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. Securities Litigation: $138.75 million recovery
Alex is currently prosecuting high-profile securities class actions involving Macquarie, Signature Bank, First Republic Bank, Atkore, and Lamb Weston.
Alex has substantial experience through all phases of litigation, including trial and appeal. Prior to joining BLB&G, Alex worked as a senior associate at a prestigious international law firm, where his practice focused on representing clients in the financial services sector in complex commercial litigation, securities, antitrust and consumer class actions. He also spent the early part of his legal career as a litigation attorney in the New York City Law Department, Special Federal Litigation Division, where he successfully tried three federal civil rights cases to jury verdict.
Alex received his J.D. from New York Law School, where he graduated summa cum laude and was a member of the Law Review and executive board member of the Moot Court Association. He also received his B.A. in History and Political Science from the College of William and Mary.
