BLB&G Founding Partner Max Berger was selected by the Federal Bar Council (“FBC”) to receive the Whitney North Seymour Award honoring “outstanding public service by a private practitioner.” Notably, Max is the first honoree in the 40-year history of the award who has dedicated his entire career and practice to representing plaintiffs.
Max received the award at the FBC’s 2026 Winter Bench and Bar Conference. Reflecting on this incredible achievement, Max spoke highly of his family and colleagues, his work on landmark cases, and his enduring passion to support young lawyers pursuing careers in public interest law.
