BLB&G senior partner Salvatore Graziano has recovered billions of dollars for investors and is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading litigators. As part of its “Lawyer Limelight” special feature, Lawdragon magazine profiled some of his recent achievements as he has helped “develop and maintain the nation’s most renowned securities litigation firm.”
In his profile, Mr. Graziano discusses, among other things, trends in securities litigation as well as the challenges currently facing the practice. He also shares his personal experience as a securities litigator, including recently obtaining a $480 million recovery for investors in the securities class action against Wells Fargo related to its fake accounts scandal.
Informed by his extensive experience prosecuting complex litigation, he describes the firm’s practice as “highly unpredictable.” “We react to fraud,” Mr. Graziano explains, “and while we have been doing this a long time and put very significant resources into monitoring the markets for misconduct, we are always surprised by what we find.” According to him, whether it’s the type of wrongdoing being committed, or how the schemes are orchestrated, “corporate insiders are constantly developing new ways to try and get around the laws which keeps the field dynamic and interesting for a litigator.”
The profile covers significant aspects of his professional and personal life.
