Mark Lebovitch Discusses D&O Exposure in Transactional Contexts in New York City Bar Program

BLB&G partner Mark Lebovitch participated in the New York City Bar Association’s Insurers’ and Insureds’ Perspectives on Current Issues in D&O Liability and Insurance 2019 as a featured speaker on the panel, “D&O Exposures Arising From Mergers & Acquisitions Activity.”

The program brought together several panels of professionals, including insurers’ representatives and insured’s’ advocates, and plaintiffs and defense counsel in these matters, as they provided a balanced perspective on present and future exposures facing corporations and their D&Os, the D&O insurance marketplace, and the coverage afforded for these types of claims.

Mr. Lebovitch is primarily responsible for the firm's corporate governance litigation practice, focusing on derivative suits and transactional litigation. He has prosecuted numerous high-profile cases on behalf of institutional investors to preliminary injunctions and to trial, obtaining billions of dollars for investors and achieving unprecedented corporate governance improvements. Mr. Lebovitch has been named a “Plaintiffs’ Lawyers Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal, a 2016 national “Plaintiff Attorney of the Year” by Benchmark Litigation, and is regularly honored as a New York “Litigation Star” by Benchmark .
