Chambers Ranks BLB&G First Among Firms Prosecuting Securities Litigation; Names Max Berger and Sal Graziano as Leaders in the Field

June 2011

BLB&G was once again ranked as the top firm in the field of plaintiff securities litigation in Chambers and Partners' 2011 Guide to America's Leading Lawyers for Business ("Chambers").

This is the sixth consecutive time that Chambers, the publisher of several globally respected guides to law firms and lawyers, has recognized BLB&G as the top firm for the practice area: "Litigation - Securities Mainly Plaintiff."  Chambers created this category in 2006 to recognize a select number of firms who do high-profile work in the area, and BLB&G has been ranked since its inception.

According to Chambers, BLB&G is "widely respected as one of the sector's preeminent securities plaintiff firms," and "impresses clients with its effectively aggressive approach."  It also praises BLB&G's for successfully prosecuting the securities litigation case against WellCare Health Plans, obtaining $200 million in recoveries.  Chambers also cites some of its sources, which credit the firm as having "experienced research staff, a great documentation unit, and a superb brief-writing team."

Individually, Chambers ranked BLB&G partner Max Berger and Salvatore Graziano as "Key Individuals" in their fields.  Under the "Litigation - Securities Mainly Plaintiff" category, Chambers profiled Mr. Berger as "extremely responsive and knowledgeable...a skilled and highly respected litigator," and Mr. Graziano as "a wonderfully talented lawyer with excellent judgment."
