Legal 500, the world's largest legal referral guide, has ranked BLB&G as the top firm in the Securities Class Action Litigation field in the U.S.The Legal 500 US Litigation guide refers to BLB&G as "reigning supreme in the plaintiff's securities bar," with an "unrivaled track record" of success and a "streak of sky-high securities fraud settlements," including the unprecedented $6.1 billion recovery in the WorldCom litigation. Clients attribute the firm's success to its "team of very aggressive litigators," "talented negotiators," and its "excellent courtroom abilities," all of which have enabled the firm to obtain five of the ten largest securities fraud recoveries in history.
According to the guide, senior partner Max Berger and former partner Sean Coffey have left a lasting impression on clients. Mr. Berger is described as "tough and honest...demanding respect from everybody in the room...a very knowledgeable attorney who is always on top of everything."
