Will Shields is a resident of the firm's New York office prosecuting securities fraud, corporate governance, and shareholder rights litigation on behalf of the firm’s institutional investor clients.

He is a member of the firm’s case development and client advisory group, in which he, as part of a team of attorneys, financial analysts, and investigators, counsels public pension funds and other institutional investors on potential legal claims.

Prior to joining BLB&G, Will was a Litigation and Government Enforcement Associate at Baker McKenzie, working in broad-based litigation and regulatory practice.

Will received his J.D. from George Washington University Law School. During that time, he assisted at the university’s Immigration Clinic and clerked for the United States Sentencing Commission’s Office of Legislative & Public Affairs. Will graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University with a B.A. in History and minors in International Affairs and Political Science.
