Prue Brady is a BLB&G associate prosecuting securities fraud, corporate governance, and shareholder rights litigation on behalf of the firm's institutional investor clients. She is based in the firm’s New York office.
As a member of the firm’s case development and client advisory group, Prue advises public pension funds, Taft-Hartley funds, and other institutional investors on potential legal claims. She played a key role in identifying and developing claims in several high-impact ongoing cases, including:
- Miller v. Elevance Health, Inc.: Representing investors in a case concerning alleged fraud related to Elevance’s accounting for the rising costs of Medicaid and the resulting impact on its rate negotiations.
- West Palm Beach Firefighters’ Pension Fund v. Hasbro, Inc.: Advocating on behalf of investors, alleging materially false and misleading statements regarding the quality of Hasbro’s inventory.
Prior to joining BLB&G, Prue was a consumer litigation associate at an established law firm, where she conducted legal research and assisted in deposition of fact witness.
Prue received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she graduated with honors and served as Technical Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law & Gender. Prior to law school, Prue excelled in the fields of finance and accounting, working as a valuations manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She received her Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from the University of Sydney.
