BLB&G Partner Lauren Ormsbee, alongside Paul, Weiss Partner Audra Soloway, have been appointed Chairs of the New York City Bar Association's Securities Litigation Committee. The Securities Litigation Committee includes attorneys from both the plaintiff and defense perspective, corporate counsel, institutional investors and academics, and strives to be an invaluable resource to those practicing or interested in securities litigation, including class actions and regulatory enforcement matters.
Lauren's practice focuses on complex commercial and securities litigation. She represents institutional and private investors in a variety of class and direct actions involving securities fraud and other fiduciary violations, she has successfully prosecuted multiple major litigations obtaining hundreds of millions of dollars in recoveries on behalf of the firm’s clients.
