Jeroen van Kwawegen a Featured Panelist at NYC Bar's 8th Annual Securities Litigation & Enforcement Institute

On January 29, 2020, BLB&G partner Jeroen van Kwawegen participates in the New York City Bar Association’s 8th Annual Securities Litigation & Enforcement Institute as a featured speaker on the panel, “The Current State of Litigation in Delaware.”

Held annually, the program brings together prominent and respected experts to shed light on the latest trends, developments and cutting-edge issues in securities litigation and enforcement.

Mr. van Kwawegen is a senior member of the firm’s Corporate Governance Litigation team. While his practice focuses on the fiduciary duties of boards of directors and senior executives, shareholder activism, and regulatory compliance, he has also prosecuted a variety of securities class actions on behalf of large institutional investors, including numerous matters relating to the credit crisis and disputes regarding the sale of residential mortgage-backed securities. For his professional achievements, The National Law Journal has named Mr. van Kwawegen a “Plaintiffs’ Lawyers Trailblazer,” recognizing him among the top practitioners in the nation “who continue to make their mark in various aspects of legal work on the Plaintiffs’ side.” He has also been recognized as a Law360 "Legal MVP" and was named one of "The 500 Leading Lawyers in America" by Lawdragon, and a leading practitioner in his field by Legal 500 US.
