BLB&G partner Mark Lebovitch served as a featured speaker at the American Conference Institute’s 19th Forum on D&O Liability Insurance at the Carlton Hotel on September 17, 2015 in New York City; where he joined the panel “Developments in Delaware Law that Impact the D&O Liability Landscape and M&A Litigation." Mr. Lebovitch, alongside an esteemed panel, discussed bylaws requiring mandatory arbitration, minimum stake and interest claims, and key developments in Delaware law and practice, among other topics.
Mr. Lebovitch is primarily responsible for the firm's corporate governance litigation practice, focusing on derivative suits and transactional litigation. He has prosecuted numerous high-profile cases on behalf of institutional investors to preliminary injunctions and to trial, obtaining billions of dollars for investors and achieving unprecedented corporate governance improvements. Mr. Lebovitch also prosecutes securities litigations, and in that capacity was the lead litigation attorney in In re Merrill Lynch Bondholders Litigation, which settled for $150 million, and is a member of the team prosecuting In re Bank of America Securities Litigation, which has settled for $2.425 billion to shareholders. In recognition for his many achievements, Mr. Lebovitch was named one of Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Lawyers in America,” selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, a “Litigation Star” by Benchmark Litigation, selected as NYC “Lawyer of the Year” by The Best Lawyers in America, and is recommended by the Legal 500 US guide for his work in M&A litigation.
