Partner Mark Lebovitch participated in the ABA’s Section of Litigation Annual Conference, which was held April 21-23, 2010 in New York City. The annual conference is a unique opportunity for attendees to select from more than 50 programs in 12 tracks to learn the latest trends in areas affecting their area of law practice.
Mr. Lebovitch participated in a panel titled “Pitfalls and Pratfalls: Ethical Considerations When Interviewing Witnesses,” in which he, along with other prominent attorneys in the field, discussed the potential conflicts of interest when interviewing a witness, including whether a lawyer owes a duty to a witness, and what a lawyer should do if a witness asks for legal advice.
