BLB&G partner Mark Lebovitch was a featured speaker at the Practising Law Institute ("PLI") Seminar, "What All Business Lawyers Must Know About Delaware Law Developments," which was held on May 21, 2009 at the PLI New York Center in New York, NY. The annual program focuses on the most recent and important Delaware corporate law developments, their impact on business practices and legal implications.
Mr. Lebovitch participated in a panel focusing on securities litigation strategy, including tactics such as temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions. The panel examined possible courses of action when taking a case to trial, including whether to seek a TRO, preliminary injunction or expedited trial for a client. Joining other experts, including those from the judiciary, leading law firms and corporations, institutional investors and academics, Mr. Lebovitch drew from his experience as an attorney specializing in corporate transaction litigation to discuss the latest case law and trends, share his real-world experience, and provide insights and practical advice on the issues of great concern to the corporate/securities legal community.
