The inaugural issue of the new legal periodical, Lawdragon, features BLB&G Partner Max Berger and former partner Sean Coffey in the "Lawdragon 500" – a list of the top 500 attorneys in the country.Mr. Berger and Mr. Coffey served as co-lead counsel for the New York State Common Retirement Fund In re WorldCom, Inc. Securities Litigation, which yielded an unprecedented recovery for defrauded investors of over $6.15 billion, and has shaken Wall Street to its core. Mr. Berger was also the lead attorney on the team which successfully prosecuted and obtained a $960 million recovery for investors in In re McKesson HBOC, Inc. Securities Litigation.
