Senior Staff Attorney
Alex practices out of the firm’s New York office, prosecuting securities fraud, corporate governance, and shareholder rights litigation on behalf of the firm’s institutional investor clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Alex was an attorney at Labaton Sucharow, where he represented plaintiffs in complex securities class actions. Before joining Labaton, he was an associate at Herbert Smith Freehills. At the firm, Alex has worked on several cases that recovered millions of dollars for institutional investors, including Allergan, Inc. (Proxy Violation), Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A., ComScore, Inc., FleetCor Technologies, Inc., HeartWare International, Inc., Micro Focus International, plc., Qualcomm, Inc., Salix Pharmaceuticals, Ltd., Signet Jewelers Limited, Wells Fargo & Company, and Wilmington Trust.
Alex obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia where he graduated with first class honours and received the University Award for Academic Excellence. During his studies, Alex interned at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, and the United Nations Secretariat in New York.
