David Wales Participates in PLI’s ESG and Promoting Corporate Sustainability Program

On June 25, 2019, BLB&G partner David Wales participated in the Practising Law Institute’s ESG and Promoting Corporate Sustainability program at the PLI’s Conference Center in New York City. He joined an esteemed panel of other legal experts to discuss effective corporate governance strategy and managing employees, activists, and shareholders.
One of the leaders of the firm’s Corporate Governance litigation practice, Mr. Wales prosecutes a variety of derivative, class, and private litigation arising from breaches of fiduciary duty and other misconduct by boards of directors and senior executives at public companies. He is an experienced trial attorney who has recovered billions of dollars on behalf of his institutional investor clients. A former Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Mr. Wales has tried numerous cases both as a prosecutor and in private practice.
