Jeroen van Kwawegen Discusses Current Issues in D&O Liability & Insurance

BLB&G partner Jeroen van Kwawegen participated in the program “Insurers’ and Insureds’ Perspective on Current Issues in D&O Liability & Insurance 2018” on Thursday, May 24, 2018, co-hosted by The Insurance Law Committee and The Insurance Federation of New York.

A senior member of the firm’s Corporate Governance Litigation team, his practice also focuses on the fiduciary duties of boards of directors and senior executives, shareholder activism, and regulatory compliance. In addition, Mr. van Kwawegen has prosecuted a variety of securities class actions on behalf of large institutional investors, including numerous matters relating to the credit crisis and disputes regarding the sale of residential mortgage-backed securities. For his professional achievements, The National Law Journal has named Mr. van Kwawegen a “Plaintiffs’ Lawyers Trailblazer,” recognizing him among the top 26 practitioners in the nation “who continue to make their mark in various aspects of legal work on the Plaintiffs’ side.” He has also been recognized as a New York Super Lawyer and a New York "Rising Star" by Thomson Reuters, and a leading practitioner in his field by Legal 500 US.
