Tony Gelderman Discusses Role of Institutional Investors in Mergers and Acquisitions at LATEC

February 28, 2011

BLB&G counsel Tony Gelderman was featured speaker at the Investment Education Symposium, hosted by the Louisiana Trustee Education Council (LATEC) in New Orleans.  His presentation, entitled "Bringing Balance to the System," discussed the important role of institutional investors in policing corporate mergers and acquisitions, given the recent increase in global M&A activity, with companies seeking to acquire weakened competitors and private equity firms' efforts to take advantage of ready financing.

Mr. Gelderman heads the firm's Louisiana office and is responsible for the firm's institutional investor and client outreach.  He is a frequent speaker at U.S. and European investor conferences and has written numerous articles on securities litigation and asset protection.
