Former partner Sean Coffey participated in the Practising Law Institute’s program entitled, "Securities Litigation & Enforcement Institute 2008," which took place at the PLI California Center in San Francisco on October 20-21, 2008.
As a member of “The New Securities Class Action Landscape: Views from Plaintiff and Defense Bars” panel, Mr. Coffey discussed Stoneridge and other recent Supreme Court decisions, as well as lower court decisions and their impact on pleading motions, class certification and summary judgment. He also provided insight into developments and trends in subprime litigation.
