Former partner Sean Coffey co-chaired the 17th Annual Litigation & Resolution of Complex Class Actions conference, sponsored by West Legalworks on November 1-2, 2007, in San Francisco, California.
The conference focused primarily on procedural and substantive issues that affect the prosecution and defense of class actions. Among numerous other topics, the forum discussed issues relating to the recent Supreme Court and Circuit Court rulings impacting class action litigation, the recent changes in the class certification evidentiary standard, and emerging class arbitration trends.
