David Stickney Speaks at PLI Subprime Mortgage Meltdown Program

BLB&G Partner David Stickney participated in a panel discussion at PLI's program entitled, "The Subprime Mortgage Meltdown II: Who, What, Where and Why...Restructuring Litigation and Investigations," which took place at the Paul Hasting Conference Center on October, 31, 2007, in Los Angeles, California.

As a member of the panel entitled, "Current Litigation Issues Concerning Participants in the Subprime Mortgage Market," Mr. Stickney provided a plaintiff's perspective on the legal issues and potential causes for action surrounding the recent subprime mortgage meltdown and discussed noteworthy cases and decisions that may impact future litigation.

Mr. Stickney specializes in complex litigation in state and federal courts and has prosecuted, together with Firm Partners, many of the Firm's leading cases, including In re McKesson Securities Litigation, in which a partial settlement was reached for $960 million, the largest recovery for securities class action reached within the Ninth Circuit.
