Former BLB&G Partner Sean Coffey served as a panelist at Stanford Law School’s Fiduciary College 2006, which took place in Stanford, California on Thursday, June 22, 2006. In a panel entitled "Director and Trustee Liability," Mr. Coffey discussed how the recent wave of corporate scandals has increased director and trustee liability, and outlined “best practice” solutions for trustees and senior managers of foundations, endowments, and pension funds that are currently working in an environment of heightened scrutiny from government regulators, law enforcement agencies, and class action lawyers.
