The Recorder Names David Stickney a “Groundbreaker” for his Success in RMBS Litigation

March 7, 2016

In recognition for this success in “blaz(ing) a trail for recovering billions from sellers of toxic mortgage securities,” California’s premier legal daily, The Recorder, has named BLB&G partner David Stickney a “Groundbreaker” as part of 2016 Litigation Department of the Year awards.  He is one of only two individual litigators to be honored with this prestigious recognition. He will be honored at the awards dinner on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the University Club of Francisco.

Mr. Stickney practices in BLB&G’s California office, where he focuses on complex litigation in state and federal courts nationwide at both the trial court and appellate levels.  For nearly two decades, he has represented institutions and individuals in many high-profile and historic cases, and has recovered billions of dollars for investors.  Widely recognized for his achievements, Mr. Stickney was named “Titan of the Plaintiffs Bar,” and twice a “Legal MVP” by Law360; a “Litigation Star” by Benchmark; a San Diego Super Lawyer, and is regularly named by Lawdragon as one of the "500 Leading Lawyers in America.”
