David H. Webber
Mr. Webber received his B.A. from Columbia University in 1995,
Phi Beta Kappa, and his J.D. in 2002 from New York University School of Law, where he was a Notes
Development Editor for the New York University Law Review.
Following law school, Mr. Webber served as a law clerk for the Honorable Harold A.
Ackerman, United States Senior District Court Judge for the District of New Jersey.
Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Mr. Webber was a litigation associate at Patterson Belknap Webb
and Tyler LLP. He has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, including bondholder and
creditors committee actions, consumer fraud cases, fiduciary duty litigation, and false claims (Qui Tam)
actions. He has also represented clients in internal investigations and civil litigation including international
arbitration, employment discrimination and Fair Labor Standards Act violations. In addition, Mr. Webber has
litigated on behalf of domestic violence survivors, and was honored in 2005 with a Pro Bono Award from The
Legal Aid Society.
Mr. Webber is currently a member of the teams prosecuting the
In re Refco, Inc. Securities Litigation,
the
UnitedHealth Group, Inc. Shareholder Derivative Litigation,
and the In re Commerce Bancorp, Inc. Shareholders Litigation.
