Avi Josefson
Mr. Josefson received his B.A., cum laude,
from Brandeis University in 1997 and his J.D., Dean's List, from Northwestern
University in 2000. At Northwestern, Mr. Josefson represented indigent juvenile and adult
clients in various courts and was awarded the Justice Stevens Public Interest
Fellowship (1999) and the Public Interest Law Initiative Fellowship (2000).
He is a co-author of several articles including "Top 10 Considerations When Seeking
Insurance Recovery for E-Commerce and Internet Claims," which he wrote for the ABA,
as well as "Political and Currency Risk Insurance" and "It's Not a Small World After
All: Meeting the Challenge of Global Risks" which he wrote for the Manufacturers
Alliance Risk Management Councils I & II.
Mr. Josefson was a member of the team responsible for the successful prosecution of the
Columbia/HCA
Healthcare Corporation Derivative Litigation, arising from the largest healthcare fraud in history.
