Max Berger Discusses Mediation Process and D&O Liability at New York City Bar CLE Event

BLB&G partner Max Berger participated in a panel discussion regarding the complexity of the mediation process when applied to Director and Officer liability matters at a New York City Bar CLE Program.  The program, entitled “Current Issues in D&O Liability & Insurance 2006,” took place at the City Bar Center for CLE in New York City on June 8, 2006.

Mr. Berger was lead counsel in the WorldCom litigation which resulted in a $6.15 billion settlement, nearly $25 million of that recovery came out of the pockets of the outside directors themselves, an unprecedented first for outside directors.  Mr. Berger will draw upon his extensive experience to discuss the techniques used for successful mediations, in a panel entitled “D&O Mediations: A Method to the Madness.”

This program is CLE accredited.
