For the second year in a row, The National Law Journal (“NLJ”) has selected BLB&G to its “Elite Trial Lawyers” list of the top plaintiff firms in the nation who have obtained the largest awards and most significant accomplishments for their plaintiff clients in 2015. BLB&G won the NLJ’s inaugural recognition last year for pulling “in big victories in complex cases that have a wide impact on the law and legal business.”
This year’s awards dinner was held at The Plaza hotel in New York City on December 8th. BLB&G was selected, out of six finalists, as the top firm in the mortgage-backed securities litigation category, one of several special 2015 practice area designations that recognize select firms for demonstrating particular excellence.
The NLJ made its selections after a rigorous review of each firm’s performance. Among the qualification criteria required for inclusion in this list, firms had to devote at least 50 percent of their litigation resources to plaintiffs work and had a “significant win” in a bench or jury trial or in a major settlement where the stakes were high.”
