r. Weinstein’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Weinstein was an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where he represented financial institutions, broker-dealers, private equity funds, and other clients in a wide range of commercial litigation, including M&A and securities litigations, securities arbitrations, and other regulatory proceedings.  From 2007-2008, Mr. Weinstein served as Secretary of the Securities Litigation Committee for the New York City Bar.

Following law school, Mr. Weinstein clerked for the Honorable Robert P. Patterson, Jr. of the United States District Court in the Southern District of New York and the Honorable Pamela B. Minzner, Chief Justice of New Mexico’s Supreme Court.

Mr. Weinstein is currently a member of the teams prosecuting the In re Merck Securities Litigation, which arose out of that company's worldwide withdrawal of Vioxx, and In re Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. Securities Litigation.
